• $200 Basic membership level: Includes the journal, access to animal registration, DNA profiling and animal history, newsletters, email blasts, directory of membership, and membership discounts on products and events.

The next levels of support are being developed to help address a shortage of funds needed to enhance efforts in governmental affairs, lobbying, health and disease issues, import and export problems, promotions and damage control caused by the dissemination of misinformation.

Currently the Basic membership fee is doing just that, providing a basic service. To enhance the effects on the other important issues, we need better funding. The board hopes everyone will see the value in investing in one of the more supportive membership levels so more focus can be directed to these issues. These levels are simply a tool that will allow those who have the ability and feel compelled to contribute more funds to develop a stronger association.

• $300 Bronze membership level: This level includes all privileges of the Basic membership. Persons contributing at this level will be recognized in this year's journals and newsletters and will receive a bronze level plaque.
• $600 Silver membership level: This level includes all privileges of the Basic membership. Persons contributing at this level will be recognized in this year's journals and newsletters and will receive a silver level plaque.
• $1000 Gold membership level: This level includes all privileges of the Basic membership. Persons contributing at this level will be recognized in this year's journals and newsletters, will receive a Gold level plaque, and a half page credit for advertising in the journal.
• $2500 Diamond membership level: This level includes all privileges of the Basic membership. Persons contributing at this level will be recognized in this year's journals and newsletters, will receive a Diamond level plaque, a full page credit for advertising in the journal, and a 2005 convention pass for two persons.
